The project company in Motala AB joins XPartners
The technical consulting group XPartners Samhällsbyggnad AB (“XPartners”) is expanding the group with a new company Projektkompaniet i Motala AB (“Projektkompaniet”) on April 9, 2024, and with this expansion will have approximately 565 employees. With this deal, we are strengthening the XPartners group both in terms of resources and geographically within architecture, construction planning and project management. The group will have a turnover of approx. SEK 890m and all companies work actively with sustainability, which further strengthens XPartners as a group in the area.
Since spring 2021, the XPartners group has worked to create a nationwide multidisciplinary community building platform where different companies, skills, people and cultures collaborate for higher exchange in their work with the transition to a more sustainable society. The business model is based on value creation through collaboration and entrepreneurship, where each company preserves its own identity, but benefits from the advantages that group affiliation provides. The owners of the companies that join become part-owners of XPartners together with the largest owner, which is the Nordic private equity company Axcel, and they continue the ongoing operational work of their own company under their own brand. Through our domain knowledge, digital understanding and commitment to sustainability, we will help make Sweden a leading country in the environment, social construction and infrastructure.
Olle Bertfelt, XPartners CEO, says: “It is with pleasure that we welcome Projektkompaniet to the XPartners family. I feel proud of the collaboration platform we built in a short time, and all the talented entrepreneurs who have since joined us. It has been especially fun to see the interaction between the companies spontaneously develop and lead to more and better deals. With this new company in the group, we continue our growth journey, which is completely in line with the XPartners group’s long-term strategy to become a significant consulting player with a strong focus on sustainability. Together, we can accelerate and develop what both customers, industry and society need, and also contribute to long-term development for our employees.”
Orvar Kristinsson, CEO Projektkompaniet, tells: “We are pleased to announce that we are now part of XPartners. By merging with XPartners, Projektkompaniet takes a strategic step towards new heights and a safer future. Through this partnership, we will strengthen our customer collaboration and ensure resources, quality and sustainability in our projects. The project company will further be able to strengthen its market position with the possibility of a larger and broader customer base, while at the same time we can make our own operations even stronger and safer and give our employees even better conditions and participation.”
